Infusion of geometrical shapes and color - store interior by +tongtong
Design studio +tongtong under supervision of John Tong just completed interior design project for fashion boutique Annie Aime.
Design has an urban flair, it looks like building shaped racks in the foreground of flowing graffiti painted mini-metropolis.
John Tong worked with graffiti artist Pascal Paquette to create decorative artwork wrapping the space. It is dynamic and masterfully painted with unhindered imagination of a child and color/shape control of a talented artist.
Interior gives appearance of an elegant playroom, that does not overwhelm but compliment the fashion items on display. And does it with class and style.
Brick elements give a little loft-like "street-cred" and texture to this creative space.
Geometrical rack shapes frame-up the clothes as if creating individual 3d displays and bringing them to the focal front.
John Tong designed the space with mobility in mind, so the space easily can be converted to be used for art curating or other events. Racks and displays are freestanding and easily movable.
Bold colours and architectural expression were needed to really capture Annie’s personality. ~John Tong~
